Truth be told there are plenty of experienced travelers out there chatting away about the service here or the view from there…you know the sites where anyone can be an expert and tell the world about their individual experience. Problem is ANYONE can be the EXPERT and tell about their INDIVIDUAL EXPERIENCE…

A Travel Professional has years of personal experience in addition to feedback from thousands of clients. It has been said it is not bragging if it’s true. It is true as a Travel Agent I spend 5 to 8 weeks a years on vacation … (it may be slightly braggadocios, but its true) I spend untold hours navigating security and customs lines around the world, waiting in terminals and negotiating the streets of foreign cities from the airport to the resort or cruise terminal. If all goes according to plan I always know that eventually some one will be making me a Frozen Lime Daiquiri by day’s end.

When things do not go according to plan is when the value of a Professional Travel Agent will become apparent. Imagine showing up as instructed and discovering the plane has mechanical issues and your flight is canceled. Now remember declining the travel insurance? Now realize that you booked your flight online through a friend’s insta-biz-website, a flight that other then in the annals of the websites database has nothing to do with the 5-star resort that is expecting you in 4 hours. How much better to call your Travel Agent, she gave you her cell phone number for just this type of scenario. Within two hours you are rebooked on another flight and your hotel is aware of the change.
